I'm considering re-doing an old comic of mine, Alice Underground. It was on here I originally posted it but then stopped drawing it and deleted my account when I got frustrated with my art style and frustrated with Deviantart. I'm redrawing a few characters to see how they'd look in the new style, then maybe I'll start working on pages. A lot of the old stuff got deleted when my old computer broke, including a few chapters of the writing I had done T_T so I'll focus right now on redrawing the pages I already had.

So I had this wild idea; what if in sailor moon we didn't just have skinny (primarily) white chicks? What if there were fat girls, tan girls, girls with glasses, disabled girls, girls of multiple races, pierced girls and muscular girls? There is a great foundation, all the girls have a really great character design and very diverse personalities.

So I just contemplated on each girl and figured out what their minority would be. There are so very minorities in media, especially anime, so I wanted to bring that to the most classic anime out there; Sailor Moon.

I've decided to post up pictures of clothes I've made/altered, which includes some cosplay. Unfortunately I don't have many good quality pictures of my cosplays because I pretty much hate pictures of myself so some of the pictures aren't going to be all that great because they're the only ones I have of that particular cosplay.

This might also bring up some questions. So far I've tried to avoid the subject of my gender, which has been great seeing what a couple people assume I am. I personally identify as genderqueer. I prefer using genderneutral pronouns like Zie (ergo my user name).

So anyway, prepare for an onslaught of pictures of me.

Hey, you can call me Zee. I just recently made a new Deviantart. I had one quite a while ago but deleted it because I had some issues with DA. We have such a lovehate relationship.

Anyway, I make art. The majority of what inspired me to start drawing was american comics and manga. I'm sure you can see a lot of both genres in my work. I do try to go for more realism especially in my bodies. I don't like seeing the same body type over and over again (even though that's easier to draw) so I'm trying to vary it up a bit.

I'm an aspiring writer, I especially want to work in comics. I have quite a few seeds in my brain that I'm trying to make grow but it is really difficult to focus on just one thing. I also get really exasperated when my art isn't at the level I want it to be, so critiques are very welcome!

I hope to be putting up a lot more work, and I hope to get better. Feel free to drop a line if you want! I'm relatively friendly!
